First, take the train from Glasgow to Fort William, travelling over the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct to Mallaig.

Culloden & Fort George :

Today you will have a day in Inverness to Explore Culloden / Fort George. Tickets included and you can be picked up by private transfer.

The Battle of Culloden was the final confrontation of the Jacobite rising of 1745. On 16 April 1746, the Jacobite army of Charles Edward Stuart was decisively defeated by a British government force under Prince William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, on Drummossie Moor near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands

Belfast :

Today you are off to the Inverness airport for your flight to Belfast. You will then take a taxi to your hotel in Ireland, The Jurys Inn Belfast.

The Giant’s Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. It is in County Antrim on the north coast of Northern Ireland, about three miles northeast of the town of Bushmills.
