#1: The people are really, Really nice

Kind and friendly, with a love for life, the people really make Asia.

Making up 60% of the world population, you are sure to meet plenty of interesting characters on your travels here. Of course, it’s always a good idea to learn local etiquette before traveling somewhere unfamiliar and Asia is no exception.

The Global Accessibility Specialists at Travel-for-All can make sure everything you need  is at hand, but you will want to familiarize yourself with some local customs before arriving to ensure the best kind of experience. A great place to start is this informative article from Afar.

#2: Asia is full of Tropical Island Paradises

From Taipei to Sri Lanka, Sapporo to Jakarta, or wherever you get to go in Asia, you are sure to discover a beautiful tropical paradise. Whether you're island hopping,  scuba diving, or just laying on the beach, you'll never run out of things to see, and you'll never run out of things to do.

Of course, what tropical paradise is complete without a full array of adventures. From zip-lining to spelunking and everything in between, you can be surrounded by some of the most beautiful sights you'll ever see where you can relax and enjoy, or jump right into the hustle & bustle.

The only problem you'll have is leaving!

#3: There are so many Fabulous Festivals

Whether you're longing to go to the Elephant Festival in Jaipur, India, or you've always wanted to take part in Thailand’s traditional New Year’s Day water fight, where the throwing of water is meant to symbolize washing all of the bad away, we know how to get you there comfortably, and we have the travel partners to help ensure all your accessibility needs are met.

One of our favourites, the MassKara Festival in Bacolod City, The Philippines, involves energetic and colourful displays of street dancing and carnivals to the beat of Latin music. Other attractions include beauty pageants, food festivals, sports events and musical concerts. It's held in October which is always a great time to getaway!

#4: Some of the best shopping in the world

If you like a bargain head to the local market. Even if you hate shopping it’s great to just observe what’s on sale. They sell everything you can think of, from clothing and food, to dead animals and deadly weapons (you may struggle to get the last two through customs though).

From Thai silk and handicrafts to a more luxurious shopping experience in the Kuala Lumpur CC mall found underneath the famous Petronas Towers, or even the largest mall in the World, you can find just about anything you can think of. Whether you are touring China’s historic spectacles or trekking the wild jungles of Southeast Asia, no Asian getaway is complete without a little retail therapy or just some leisurely shopping.

#5: Some of the best food in the world

Cheap, yet delicious food is all around you – Asia has some of the richest cuisine in the world, and you would definitely miss out if you didn't sample at least a taste of everything!

Often it can be a mystery to find out what exactly it is you are eating, but if it smells good, it will probably taste good (at least that's been our experience). As long as you avoid the heavily deep fried dishes, the majority of Asian food is simple and pure. From simple rice dishes to flash-fried veggies, from noodle soup to seaweed; the list is endless of all the varieties you can indulge in!
