Alongside EPIC, The Irish Family History Centre offer a genealogy centre with extensive, easy-to-use research facilities and the latest DNA testing, giving visitors a chance to learn about their Irish roots.

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum is fully wheelchair accessible with elevators on site. Visitors can explore 450 metres of the museum, which is all one level with seating throughout.

Guided Lagan Boat Tour *

Our Guided Tour embraces the RMS Titanic story both old and new within Belfast Harbour, allows you to view the Titanic Quarter from the water, giving you opportunities to photograph and appreciate the vastness of this important industrial era. The Tour heads round to Musgrave Channel where you may view Belfast’s large breeding seal colony – over 50 seals were counted in August 2017. The Mona is wheelchair accessible and enclosed with heated lower deck, so you will stay warm and dry. Tours are 60 minutes, however, occasionally the tour may exceed 60 minutes as we may have to accommodate based on harbour activities.

Titanic Belfast Maritime Museum

Inside the museum you can embark on a self-guided tour of the building’s 6 floors that offer 9 interpretive and interactive galleries that showcase the sights, sounds, and stories of Titanic’s short history. After navigating through the museum and learning about the people who lost their lives on this ill-fated ship, head outside to explore the Harland and Wolff Drawing Offices, the Titanic Slipways, and Hamilton Graving Dock, the locations where the Titanic was designed, built, and launched in 1912. You can also visit the SS Nomadic which is onsite and has many similarities it has to the Titanic, as it was also designed by Thomas Andrews.

At Titanic Belfast, we are very proud to be consistently recognised as industry leaders on a local, national and international level for our accessibility standards. An audio-described guide is provided free of charge to our visitors who are blind or partially sighted. These guides can be collected at Visitor Services. Titanic Belfast is designed to be a multi -sensory exhibition. The experience is self-guided, however multimedia guides are available, including state-of-the-art British Sign Language visuals and audio transcripts are available for videos. At Titanic Belfast the building is fully accessible for wheelchairs.

Giants Causeway Visitor Centre & Accessible Trail

Local people here believe that between the hexagons, the mythical features carved out in the rocks and the tumbling sea, there’s real magic. You may not always see it straightaway, but come to this place, stand on the stones, uncover the legends, use your imagination and just wait. It won’t be long until you feel it. The visitor centre and green trail are wheelchair accessible, with shuttle transport to view the stones.

It’s no surprise this place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A geological wonder with over 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the Giant’s Causeway is the result of intense volcanic and geological activity. The Causeway provides a glimpse into the Earth’s most ancient past. An epic 60 million year-old legacy to the cooling and shrinking of successive lava flows.
