An accessible return transfer by taxi from the airport to your hotel with guaranteed early check in, allowing you the chance to freshen up before going out to explore.

Our local taxi supplier has all 465 vehicles that are wheelchair accessible. Drivers are trained to ensure they are able to provide the best possible taxi service – qualified to assist with wheelchair access and will ensure that wheelchairs are properly and safely secured before setting off on a journey, assisting passengers to disembark at the other end too.

Drivers are also trained to help people with moderate walking difficulties, as well as those with impaired vision or hearing.

Day 1
Edinburgh Castle

Edinburgh’s most popular and famous attraction, Edinburgh Castle dominates the city skyline from the peak of an extinct volcano. An ancient stronghold, it has been home to royalty for hundreds of years including Queen Margaret, Mary Queen of Scots and James VI. A must for visitors are the Crown Jewels, Stone of Destiny and an opportunity to explore the castle’s ancient dungeons. Crowds gather at 1pm for the shooting of the One o’clock Gun, a tradition dating back to 1861 and takes place every day except Sundays.

Day 2
Royal Yacht Britannia

The Royal Yacht Britannia played host to some of the world’s most famous people, but above all was home for the British Royal Family for over 40 years. Now berthed in Leith, Edinburgh, you can discover the heart and soul of this most special of Royal residences.

You’ll receive a truly warm welcome at Britannia’s Visitor Centre in Ocean Terminal before you step aboard this famous ship. Learn about the history of Royal Yachts and view displays and historical photographs of Britannia’s fascinating past.

Day 3
The Scotch Whisky Experience

Take a sensational journey through a replica distillery, before your expert guide imparts the secrets of the Whisky regions. Finally, you’ll choose your perfect ‘dram’, and taste it in The World’s Largest Whisky Collection.

The Scotch Whisky Experience blows away the myths about Scotch Whisky making it accessible to everyone. The Experience offers British Sign Language and American Sign Language on our silver tour.

The Experience is fully wheelchair accessible, with expert tour guides and whisky advisors on hand to tailor make your visit and ensure the enjoyment of every member of your party.

Day 4
The Palace of Holyroodhouse

The Palace of Holyroodhouse stands at the end of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile against the spectacular backdrop of Arthur’s Seat. This fine palace is closely associated with Scotland’s rich history and today is used by The Queen when carrying out official engagements in Scotland. The State Apartments are renowned for their ornate plasterwork and unrivalled collection of tapestries. Today they are used for official ceremonies such as Investitures and the luncheon to celebrate the installation of new Knights to the Order of the Thistle, Scotland’s oldest order of chivalry.

Day 5
Secrets of the Royal Mile Tour

This walking tour is the perfect introduction to Scotland’s capital.

Discover an Edinburgh beyond the reach of tour buses and guidebooks. Your expert guide will take you to the places where history was made – the wynds, closes, courtyards and homes of Edinburgh’s Old Town. You’ll be hanging on your tour guide’s every word, as the true stories of our capital’s past unfold.

Day 6
Treasures of the Old Town Tour

Explore the hidden treasures of the Royal Mile – and let your expert guide unlock the history of this ancient seat of power. Discover the lesser known history of the Canongate, and the glorious Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Uncover a path to the palace that escapes the notice of history books and bus tours. As you walk down the quiet closes of the Royal Mile your expert tour guide will show you a different side of the city – in rich, engaging detail.

Day 7
Edinburgh Bus Tour

The foot of the Scott Monument, on Waverley Bridge, is the departure point for the many Edinburgh Bus Tours A guided bus tour is a great way to see some of the best places to visit and learn about the city’s main tourist attractions. Be sure to hold on to your ticket as some of the tours offer a hop and hop off service if there’s a particular area you wish to spend some more time in
