Trip Itinerary

Day 1

Once your plane touches down on The Big Island of Hawaii, your adventure begins!

Pick up your rental car, and enjoy a scenic half hour drive to your accommodations at the gorgeous Hilton Waikoloa Village.

You can relax in your fully accessible room, or begin to explore the expansive 62 acre property.  Perhaps take a ride on the tram to get the lay of the land, before enjoying a meal at one of the incredible dining options offered at the resort.  Then spend your evening relaxing by the pool, or paddling around the saltwater lagoon.  The options truly are endless!

Day 2
Helicopter Volcano Tour

On your first full day in Hawaii, head out mid-morning for the Waikoloa airport, where you will board a helicopter for an incredible aerial tour of the island!

Seeing volcanoes from above is breathtaking, not to mention the stunning waterfalls, sea cliffs, lush rainforests, and so much more.  Have your camera ready, because you will want to look back on these memories for a lifetime.

After your helicopter tour, you may wish to visit some of the world-renowned beaches Hawaii has to offer.  The most accessible beaches are: Spencer Beach Park, Hapuna Beach Park, Kua Bay State Park, Kaloko National Park, Kahonaiki Beach Park, Honokohau National Park, Old Kona Airport Park, King Kamehameha Beach, Honl’s Beach, White Sands Beach, and Kahalu’u Beach Park.

Day 3
Relax At Your Resort

Learn how to play the kulele, dance the hula, make a kukui nut bracelet and more. Take in all of the Hawaiian culture, and learn about its importance today. Hawaiian Cultural Classes are a benefit of the resort charge.

Day 4
Snorkel & BBQ Tour

Get up bright and early to board a luxury catamaran, and discover Kona’s underwater paradise on this snorkeling cruise and dolphin watch. Cruise through protected marine sanctuaries, home to hundreds of species of enchanting ocean wildlife.

After some basic instruction from the lifeguard-trained crew, jump in the water for a snorkel. While you’re enjoying the crystal clear snorkeling, the crew will be grilling a delicious BBQ burger lunch. Then, relax and enjoy the timeless beauty of the Kona coastline on the return trip. Bring a towel. Everything else is included.

Day 5
Walkway Museum & Shopping

The Waikoloa Village boasts it’s very own expansive resort art collection! This unique museum experience features works from Asian, Western, and Oceanic cultures – with more than 1800 pieces.

Hawaii celebrates its own cultural heritage, and hopes that through an appreciation of its art, guests can gain a greater understanding and insight into life in Hawaii.

Four tour areas make for a true museum-style experience. That’s why they call it the Museum Walkway!

From there, browse the many shops right on the resort property. Check out the available wares, and purchase the perfect souvenir to take home, or find unique gifts to surprise your family and friends.

Day 6
Dolphin Quest

Dolphins play in the refreshing blue water of CuracaoHave you always dreamed of swimming with dolphins?

Dolphin Quest has an accessible location right in Waikoloa Village, where you can interact with these beautiful and gentle creatures. The lagoon is one of the largest and most natural dolphin habitats in the world.  Learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about dolphins, and of course get lots of memorable photos of your experience.

Day 7
Legends of Hawaii Luau

After a final full day enjoying your resort (or exploring the island) attending an incredible Hawaiian luau is the perfect ending to your fabulous trip.

Indulge in the tropical flavours of a Hawaiian meal made with traditional ingredients.  Song, storytelling, and an unforgettable fire knife dance will be sure to leave you with lasting memories of The Big Island.
